Jason Pappas
Managing Partner
Jason is the managing partner and co-Founder of Antson Advisors, a Baltimore-based management consulting and outsourced executive firm with a specialization in growth and restructure of middle market organizations. Most recently Jason served as acting CEO and president of Maryland Proton Treatment Center, (MPTC), a cutting-edge free-standing cancer treatment facility in Baltimore, MD affiliated with the University of Maryland Medical System. At MPTC, Jason lead a success $277M financial restructure of the facility while effectively doubling patient volume during the tenure. Jason remains as chairman of the organization.
Prior to Antson, Jason served in a variety of senior executive positions for operating companies. For most of the previous decade, Jason was the CEO of EntreQuest, a high-growth sales and leadership consulting, training and staffing organization he co-founded and subsequently sold.
Following EntreQuest, Jason served as the COO of Progressus Therapy, an historically underperforming $45M private-equity backed therapy staffing and education company based in Tampa, FL. He led an organizational turnaround that increased the revenue run-rate of the company by 28% within 18 months and the EBITDA of the company over 200%.
Jason’s Qualifications
In addition to specific client work, Jason serves on various corporate boards. Currently he is the chairman of MPTC (referenced above), chairman of Authntk, a technology marketing enablement company for the automotive industry and on the board of RocketDocs, a private- equity backed business process automation company primarily for the finance and banking sectors.
Education
Jason graduated from Yale University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science and letter winner on the varsity football team. He also graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law with a juris doctorate specializing in finance and taxation.
Community
In the community, Jason is an adjunct professor of entrepreneurship in the masters program at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Additionally, he is the past chairman of the Board for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Chesapeake and the Greater Baltimore Technology Council.
